I really enjoyed my stay here. From the lovely lady who checked me in to the really nice gentleman who was there to greet me at breakfast. Hardcore small town locally owned place. The motel was quaint and cozy, the room was clean... Spotless in fact. The location is great to get to Fort Laramie and it is located in a very walkable part of town. (I imagine the entire town is walkable to be fair). I felt safe here, and the entire experience was unexpectedly great.

Quiet, quaint motel. Very clean, had a comfortable bed. Outstanding breakfast, we had homemade breakfast burritos and cinnamon buns. We had some engine trouble, and the owner Gordon gave us rags and jugs of water to take along the road if needed. EXCELLENT small town service, you won't get that kind of help from an expensive chain hotel!! Highly recommend!!

This is a wonderful place, full of good service for a great price. My wife, daughter, and I stayed here on December 23, 2022. Rhonda checked us in. She was super friendly and helpful. Gordon, the owner, was there in the morning. He's so friendly as well. Nice people. Room was comfortable, quiet, clean, and there was easy access with parking in front of the door. They serviced a homemade breakfast burritos, cinnamon rolls and biscuits and gravy. So yummy. There was also cereal, fruit, yogurt, hot coffee, and other items. It was a great deal for only $89. The decor is western style with cool decorations. Highly recommended. Thank you Gordon and Rhonda.

Wonderful motel, definitely one of the finest and cleanest motels I've ever had the pleasure of staying. Totally lucked out, because of a blizzard- road closure... Staff was extremely helpful and kind... The young lady who was managing, was super helpful and a great Cook!!! The biscuits and gravy was Awesome, and so was the breakfast barreto's home cooked I might add! I would highly recommend this motel to any traveler! I'm going to go back, just to hangout, there is a super nice bar and grill not 100 feet away.

We stayed one night, but I would not hesitate to stay more a this motel. The gentleman who checked us in was so friendly and helpful. Our room wasn't fancy, but it was clean. There was a bar/restaurant close by that served good food. Like every place we visited or stayed, everyone is short staffed. All the people we encountered had a smile on their face even though their eyes showed tiredness. The host helped us to find the Oregon Trail wagon tracks and pointed out other areas of interest. Loved this place. Stay here for no other reason than the WONDERFUL HOMEMADE breakfast. Great VALUE. If you are traveling with kids ask the owner to show them his mounted rattlesnake. I HATE snakes, but it was interesting to touch one and see it rattles.

If you are looking for a break from the dusty trail and still appreciate a rustic old-west feel you found it at the bunk house. Not new and shiny but definitely quiet and comfortable. The service and waking to coffee and a good selection of breakfast will be what brings me back. Homemade cinnamon rolls, biscuits, and breakfast burritos that you can top with a country-style sausage gravy.

This motel was absolutely adorable. An older style motel, the owners went to great detail on getting the theme correct . Right down to a metal bucket for a waste/paper can. The beams and washroom door were a delight. The price was great. The only negative I can say would be a more comfy chair, and yet the chair was right in theme. If you are oozing for a quiet place in the area this place would be it. Low key, quiet, pet friendly, breakfast served, not a breakfast eater so can't comment.

I’ve stayed here a couple times now. This is my go-to hotel to stay in Guernsey. The owners are so kind and thoughtful, it really does feel like staying at a home away from home. It has rustic charm, a friendly orange cat (the “night manager”), and a hot breakfast. It’s small town charm in the best ways.

Fantastic people are running this tidy little lodge. It has so much character. Offers chances for fun little photo shoots, too, in the breakfast area. Great place. Rooms are nice and comfy. Clean rooms. My dad got sick one day, so he couldn't stay out to work with everyone. The cleaning lady made sure he was comfy and had everything he needed. Above and beyond. So grateful.
